Acceptance

My World In Blocks ("the App") is published by Yarramolong Pty Ltd ("we", "us"). By downloading or using the App, you agree to these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

Licence

You are granted a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the App on Apple devices you own or control, in accordance with the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions.

Free to use

The App is free to use: rendering, saving renderings, sharing pictures of your models and exporting build videos cost nothing and have no limits. A model’s plan from above, printing it, and its piece‑by‑piece build video come with its building guide. Models can be built in several styles (Settings ▸ Build Style by Size), and each saved model keeps the style it was made in. What you can buy are building guides, described below.

Building guides

Building guides are bought in the App for one place at a time. The standard plans are 16 × 16; 24 × 24, which also includes that place’s 16 × 16; and 32 × 32, which also includes its 24 × 24 and 16 × 16. Under Build Instructions ▸ Need Bigger?, huge plans of 48 × 48, 64 × 64, 96 × 96 and 128 × 128 are each sold on their own: each includes that size plus the place’s 16 × 16, 24 × 24 and 32 × 32, but not any other huge size (a 64 × 64 doesn’t include the 48 × 48). An 8 × 8 plan is also sold on its own and isn’t included in any other plan. For a model bigger than 128 × 128, contact us to ask whether we can make one. Purchases are processed by Apple. Before you buy a guide you can preview its first four pages, without their parts lists; the full guide is only made once you’ve bought it. A guide you buy covers its place at its plan’s sizes, in whichever build style you choose. Guides are kept on your device in My Guides (and, with iCloud Drive on, in your iCloud Drive) to open, print or share, and are for your personal use. To get them back on a new device, tap Restore Purchases (at the bottom of My Renderings) while signed in to the same Apple ID; your guides and the places you bought come back through iCloud, and any guide with no copy left is made again, in the build style it was bought in, so keep iCloud on (if iCloud is off, contact us and we’ll help restore them). Refunds are handled by Apple in line with App Store policy. Building guides are plans only: the price is for the step-by-step guide (a PDF) and does not include any bricks or other physical items. A free sample guide (the Matterhorn at 24 × 24) can be downloaded from our website, for personal use on the same terms. 16 × 16, 24 × 24 and 32 × 32 guides are also sold in packs of three, about a third off (8 × 8 and the huge plans are not sold in packs). Each pack gives three credits of its size, and each credit unlocks one place at that size’s plan (a 32 × 32 credit covers the 16 × 16, 24 × 24 and 32 × 32). Credits don't expire, are used when you choose to use one, and come back with Restore Purchases (the count of credits used is kept in your iCloud).

Brick supply service

If you’d like us to source the bricks for a model, “Ask us to source the bricks” (under “We can help you build it”) takes you to our website to request a quote. That service is separate from the App: it is quoted and paid for outside the App, on the terms we give you with the quote, and Australian Consumer Law applies.

Buying bricks from other shops

The App can prepare a parts list for your model and open other online brick shops (such as LEGO Pick a Brick, BrickLink, Brick Owl or Webrick). Bricks you buy there are sold and delivered to you directly by that shop or its sellers. The purchase is between you and them, on their terms: My World In Blocks isn’t part of the sale, takes no payment, and can’t help with the order, delivery or refunds. Brick prices shown in the App are estimates only, based on LEGO Pick a Brick (Australia) prices on the date shown; the shop’s price is the one you pay, and stock and colours depend on the shop. Parts lists are made automatically from your model: each layer’s colour is matched to the nearest available brick colour, and bricks hidden inside the model are listed in bright colours (Red, Black, Yellow and Blue, one for each quarter of the base), which go down first in each layer. If you turn on “Reuse my old bricks”, matching bricks from plans you bought before are taken off the list and the shop orders, so check you still have them. Smooth Easy, the style for 24 × 24 and bigger unless you change it, uses only part sizes that were well stocked in their colour with BrickLink sellers in Dublin, London, New York and Sydney when this version of the App was made; stock changes, so some parts may still be hard to find. Check the list before you order.

Plans only — no bricks included

Everything sold in the App — building guides and guide packs — is digital. Building guides are step‑by‑step plans (PDFs). No bricks, plates, baseplates or other physical items are included in any purchase or sent to you.

Your models and plans

The block models, layer plans, parts lists and videos you create with the App are yours to use, including for personal, educational and commercial purposes, with these exceptions: building guides you buy are for your personal use; views coloured with satellite imagery contain Apple map imagery, which is subject to Apple’s terms; and the LEGO® name and trademarks can’t be used to promote your models (see Trademarks). The underlying elevation data is public domain or openly licensed, and river data is © OpenStreetMap contributors under the Open Database Licence (ODbL): if you publish or share a model that shows rivers or landmarks, credit “© OpenStreetMap contributors” (building guides already carry this credit). See acknowledgements below.

Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the App, interfere with its operation, or use it to violate any law. You also agree not to use the App to place unreasonable load on the third-party data services it relies on.

Trademarks

LEGO® is a trademark of the LEGO Group, which does not sponsor, authorise or endorse this app. My World In Blocks is not affiliated with the LEGO Group. References to LEGO® bricks and plates describe the sizes of parts a model can be built from; prices shown for them are estimates based on LEGO Pick a Brick (Australia) retail prices, which change. Other names mentioned may be trademarks of their owners.

No warranty

The App and its data are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. Elevation and terrain data are approximate, coastlines, rivers and landmarks come from third-party map data that may be incomplete or out of date, and none of it may be relied upon for navigation, aviation, engineering, surveying, safety, or any decision where inaccuracy could cause harm. Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts or changes any right or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law that can’t lawfully be excluded.

Availability of data services

The App depends on third-party services for map imagery and elevation data. These may change or become unavailable, which can prevent new areas from being rendered. Areas already cached on your device continue to work offline.

If a data source becomes unavailable, we intend to restore functionality through an app update where a suitable alternative source exists, but we cannot guarantee that a service will be restored or that an alternative will be available.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Yarramolong Pty Ltd is not liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the App.

Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
